Gayle shone through, presenting TMG as the one with well-presented ideas on how St Andrew’s could benefit, but above all, Gayle presented as the right fit for us.  Gayle was interested in our business, interested in our people and was easy to communicate with.

I first connected with Gayle Pacchini from Thriving Minds Global in May 2024, requesting support in developing our executive leadership team in the areas of emotional intelligence, operational excellence, effective delegation and communication, as well as one-to-one executive coaching support for myself and each individual ELT member.

I originally went to a few organisations to investigate what each would provide to St Andrew’s and importantly, to get a sense of who we could work with most easily.  Gayle shone through, presenting TMG as the one with well presented ideas on how St Andrew’s could benefit, but above all, Gayle presented as the right fit for us.  Gayle was interested in our business, interested in our people and was easy to communicate with.

After numerous conversations and deeper exploratory sessions, Thriving Minds Global developed a bespoke 6-month leadership development program titled Elevating Leadership Performance, that captured all of our needs in a holistic, contextualised manner. 

The program included three stages:

  • Stage 1: Teaming for Success; a 2-day offsite workshop focused on developing our team charter and ways of working by leveraging our collective strengths by incorporating the Strengths Profile diagnostic.

  • Stage 2: Foundations of Emotional Intelligence and commencement of one-to-one executive coaching, leveraging a diagnostic called MSCEIT to help baseline each of our EI strengths and opportunities for improvement.

  • Stage 3: Coaching as a Leadership Style professional development training program facilitated through Coaching Australia, targeted at building our leadership toolkit.

Our overall goal through this program was to develop a solutions-focused Executive Leadership Team (ELT) who operate with clarity, who are capable, and who are confident in executing and communicating effectively within and across the business.

To keep us aligned, we established two key focus areas to measure our performance and success along the way:

  1. Unite the ELT behind a common purpose, vision and way of working (Stage 1: Teaming for Success).

  2. Develop the ELTs capability from manager -> leader -> C-Suite (Stage 2-4: Emotional Intelligence, Coaching as a Leadership Style, Executive Presence, 1-1 Coaching).

True to what was first presented to St Andrew’s, Thriving Minds Global have been open and honest in our communications, we have been challenged, vulnerable, enthused and prepared for the implementation of what we were facilitated to determine.

Partnering with Thriving Minds Global has provided St Andrew’s ELT with a much greater sense of teamwork within ourselves as well as opened the eyes of the ELT members to our individual and collective strengths, a new way to view leadership and importantly, for each ELT member to feel supported to move from a manager role into an executive c-suite role.

There are two main highlights that Thriving Minds Global have facilitated for St Andrew’s leadership practice.

  1. The ELT of St Andrew’s now have a team charter, from which we are all able to review regularly to keep ourselves and each other accountable to the vision of the Team.

  2. St Andrew’s has an architecture for assessing how ideas and deliberations are related to the Strategic Plan and our internal team vision as well as ensuring that as an ELT we are providing the right Clarity, Climate and Competence for our employees to succeed.

From working with Gayle, St Andrew’s has been able to make very big strides forward in how the organisation works with a changed mindset from a group of small businesses to one business.  The coming together of the team has enabled a very seamless growth as we have taken on a new business unit.

Thriving Minds Global has assisted St Andrew’s to be ready for a bright year ahead and an excellent future.  I have begun conversation with Gayle about extending our partnership, both for executive coaching, but also for other organisational priorities.  Thriving Minds Global and St Andrew’s have established a very fruitful partnership which will be on-going.
